Charles Cooper is a composer and arranger from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in composition from Michigan State University. He is currently studying under pianist Derek Polischuk and composer Mark Sullivan. Charles has composed a variety of works for chamber groups, large ensembles, and most recently for film. His music can be heard in the Lifetime feature film “10 Year Reunion,” and two feature length student productions “(313) Choices” and “Sorta Late,” both of which were met with fan and critical acclaim during their respective premieres at the Traverse City Film Festival. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
